BVTA Education
Bringing Nationally Recognized Activism to Every Stage and Every Classroom.
At the Blk Virginia Theatre Alliance, we believe that world-class arts education should never be out of reach. From our youngest movers to our seasoned artists, we serve all ages with programming that is nationally recognized for its impact. We have been invited to lead pedagogy and performance at the International Black Theatre Festival, Atlantic Black Theatre Festival, Virginia Thespian Festival, Virginia Theatre Association, and the Pedagogy of the Oppressed International Conference. We bring the programming to you. We work at an accessible rate with our families, schools, and community partners because we believe everyone deserves a seat at the table. To date, we are proud to have served over 10,000 youth of all backgrounds through our dedicated education initiatives.
